Gas Appliance Installation
We install new gas appliances and connect them safely to your existing gas supply. That covers cooktops, ovens, freestanding cookers, gas heaters, gas hot water units, fixed BBQs, pool heaters, and patio heaters. We make sure the appliance is installed to the manufacturer's instructions, properly tested, and safe to use the moment we hand it over.

What to expect on the day
1. Before we arrive, we confirm the appliance details so we bring the right fittings and parts.
2. On the day, we check the appliance is configured for your property’s gas type. Appliances are made for either natural gas or LPG, and using the wrong one is unsafe.
3. We position the appliance and confirm clearances to walls, cabinets, and (for flued appliances) the flue route.
4. We run any new pipework needed and fit a shut-off tap at the appliance, so the gas can be safely isolated for future servicing.
5. We connect the appliance, pressure-test the new section, and purge the line.
6. We commission the appliance: light each burner, check the operating pressure, and confirm safe ignition and shutdown.
7. For flued appliances, we run acombustion analysis to confirm the flue is drawing properly and CO levels aresafe.
8. We walk you through how to use the appliance safely, hand over the manuals, and issue your compliance certificate.
Planning and designing the plumbing layout
Before a slab is poured, we map out water and waste lines to suit the design of the house. We look at fixture placement, fall of the land, and council requirements to make sure everything will work long-term — not just on paper.
Installing kitchens, bathrooms, and laundries
These are the busiest rooms in the house, and they rely on good plumbing more than anything else. We install water and waste connections for sinks, toilets, showers, dishwashers, and washing machines, making sure everything lines up perfectly with cabinetry and tiling.
Connecting sewers and stormwater to the mains
A house is only as good as its drains. We install sewer and stormwater lines with the correct fall, join them to boundary traps and council mains, and test every joint so there are no surprises once you move in.
Fitting hot water systems and ensuring compliance
From electric storage tanks to continuous-flow gas systems, we fit the right hot water unit for the house and make sure it’s compliant with energy and safety standards. We also run pressure tests to protect the whole system.
How long it takes
A straight forward cooktop or appliance swap on an existing gas point usually takes 2 to 4 hours. If new pipework, a flue, or a regulator change is needed, expect 4 to 8 hours, occasionally a full day.
Good to know
• Gas appliances are configured for either natural gas or LPG. We always check the data plate matches your supply before connecting.
• If your appliance also needs power (most ovens and many cookers do), a licensed electrician needs to handle the electrical side. We can coordinate that or work alongside your preferred electrician.
• Cabinetry cut-outs and bench top work aren't part of a gas install. If those are needed, your kitchen installer or carpenter handles them and we connect once the appliance is in place.
